Position Overview
We are seeking a bilingual Legal Assistant with experience in real estate and development legal work to join our growing team. The ideal candidate should possess excellent drafting and communication skills in both Arabic and English, along with a solid understanding of legal documents typically used in the property development sector.
The role will work closely with legal advisors, project teams, and senior management to ensure our legal documentation is clear, compliant, and well-structured for every stage of the development cycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and revise legal documents and contracts related to:
- Sales Purchase Agreements (SPA)
- Expressions of Interest (EOI)
- Booking Forms
- Subcontractor Agreements
- MOUs, NDAs, JV Agreements, and other real estate-related contracts
- Assist in the legal due diligence process for land acquisitions, project launches, and regulatory filings.
- Translate legal documents and correspondence from Arabic to English and vice versa, ensuring legal accuracy and contextual clarity.
- Liaise with external law firms, consultants, and government authorities as required.
- Maintain an organized system of physical and digital legal files and contracts.
- Support the licensing and compliance process with DLD, RERA, Dubai Municipality, Notary Public, and other relevant authorities.
- Ensure timely contract renewals, follow-up on legal notices, and update contract trackers.
- Conduct preliminary legal research as requested by management or external counsel.
- Assist in preparing presentations, reports, or summaries for internal legal matters.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Legal Studies, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of legal assistant or paralegal experience within a real estate development or construction company in the UAE.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Arabic (reading, writing, speaking) is essential.
- Strong working knowledge of UAE real estate laws, DLD and RERA procedures, and contract law.
- High attention to detail with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities to liaise across departments and external entities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience using legal document management systems is a plus.
